A few years ago, there were rumors swirling around Bollywood Actress Esha Gupta, allegedly in a relationship with all-rounder Hardik Pandya. The rumors intensified when the cricketer famously stated in the popular chat show Koffee with Karan that he had dated multiple women at the same time. While Pandya was criticized for his now immature comments, Esha recently cleared the air about the truth behind her dating Hardik.
The Actress opened up and said that while she was briefly talking to the all-rounder for two months, nothing substantial translated and that they were not romantically involved. The brief chat also fizzled out before it could become more serious, with the two catching up once or twice. When quizzed if anything could have happened with Hardik, Esha said, "Maybe could have happened," but felt it was not meant to be.

The Bollywood Actress further stated that by the time Hardik faced a severe backlash for his immature comments on Koffee with Karan, the two had stopped talking.

Hardik Pandya's Koffee with Karan controversy did not bother me: Esha Gupta
The Actress also clarified that the Koffee with Karan controversy involving Hardik did not even remotely affect her, as she had become very thick-skinned by then.
“Those poor guys were already going through so much—what good would it have done if I made a fuss?" She added.

When further quizzed about how the initial talks with the all-rounder fizzled out, Esha stated they realized they were not truly compatible with each other, and both had different priorities and ambitions in life. While the Actress said she values her career, Esha confessed she prefers a grounded life rooted in family rather than focusing on a relationship on appearances and or constant public scrutiny.
Esha and Hardik being in a romantic relationship started in 2018 when the duo was spotted at a social gathering and instantly connected. However, after the all-rounder's misogynistic comments, she distanced herself from the cricketer.
