International Cricket Council (ICC) took to their Instagram account to announce the official venue for the Olympics in a collaborative post with the LA28 Olympics official Instagram handle.

It has been 128 years since cricket was last played in the Olympics, at which time there were fewer teams, limited facilities, and longer match formats. This time, the competition will follow a knockout format with 6 teams participating in men and women's category similar to the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
