History will be created for the Nepal Cricket Team as they are to play their first-ever bilateral T20I series against two-time T20 World Champions West Indies in September in Sharjah. Although the three matches will be played at a neutral venue, Nepal are the official host of the series. The Asian team, who have made giant strides in the shortest format of the game, can now dare to dream of giving tough competition to the bigger teams.
Nepal also impressed one and all in the T20 World Cup 2024. In one of their games against South Africa, they almost beat them, only to botch in the final moments of the game. The series against West Indies will give Nepal a much-needed chance to showcase their immense talent against a bigger team.
